G. Tracy Mehan, III, EPA's Assistnat Administrator for Water, Addresses National Meeting To Promote Water- Efficient Products

(10/03/03) EPA’s Agency Assistant Administrator G. Tracy Mehan, III, will give the opening remarks at a national meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9, with commercial, industrial and environmental groups to build a voluntary market-based program for promoting water efficient products. The Agency seeks to increase water-efficiency by providing information on the advantages of water-efficient products and motivating manufacturers to produce more water-efficient products. This is the first in a series of meetings to determine the best and most cost-effective way of saving water nationwide.
