EPA Awards $30,000 to the Wyandotte Tribe

(Dallas, Texas – November 30, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $30,000 to the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma. The Tribe will use the funds to improve water quality in the Neosho River, Spring River, Sycamore Creek, Lost Creek, and Brush Creek watersheds. The funds will also be used for public education and water, sediment and specimen sampling.
