Roadwork to Take Place at Night for Vienna PCE Superfund Site

VIENNA, W.Va. - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will be conducting roadwork on Grand Central Avenue in Vienna as a part of its work in the cleanup of the Vienna PCE Superfund site Tuesday, June 7, 2005 and Wednesday, June 8, 2005.
The work being conducted involves trenching or breaking through the concrete in the road to install pipes which will complete the air sparging/vapor extraction system that will be used to cleanup the site. Work will begin at 8 p.m both evenings and end between 6 a..m. and 6:30 a.m. in the morning. Each night half of Grand Central Avenue will be closed, allowing traffic to continue to pass. A final layer of asphalt will be paved in the morning of Monday, June 13, 2005.
