EPA Employees Honored for Achievement

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded bronze medals for group achievement to two Bucks County residents.
Claudette Reed from Doylestown was honored for helping develop an innovative employee recruitment program. Reed an environmental scientist, has worked at the EPA for six years.
David Polish of Warrington was recognized for his participation in the safe cleanup of hazardous soils at the Drake Superfund site in Lock Haven, Pa. Polish has worked as a community involvement coordinator for more than two years at EPA.
"These employees recognized deserve applause for their hard work. Thanks to them, the mid-Atlantic Region is a cleaner, safer place to live, said W. Michael McCabe, EPA mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
