CHICAGO (Oct. 11, 2005) — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 will co-sponsor a one-day informational hands-on workshop designed to provide answers to questions about diesel retrofit emission control technologies, idle-reduction technologies and clean fuels. Other sponsors are U.S. Department of Energy, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, State of Indiana Office of Lt. Governor Energy Group and South Shore Clean Cities.
WHO: Officials of the sponsoring organizations and the mayors of Valparaiso and LaPorte, Ind. Also participating are technology vendors.
