EPA Honors Outstanding Secretary

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency honored Sondra Allen of Philadelphia with the Secretarial Excellence Award, the highest award given to a secretary in the agency.

Allen has been an office manager in the EPA’s Waste and Chemical Management Division for 13 years.

"Sondra is a role model and mentor. She is dedicated, conscientious, hard-working, and cares about her co-workers. Everyone who has ever worked with her has been impressed by her professionalism, grace and sensitivity," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
