U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will launch EPA’s new Center for Environmental Information and Statistics Internet Website --- a comprehensive, easy-to-use environmental data base --- at the Martin Luther King Library in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m.
The new CEIS Internet Website, part of the Clinton Administration’s effort to expand citizen’s right to know about pollution in their communities, will allow the public to obtain
up-to-date information and interpretation of that information simply by entering a zip code.
(A bank of computers will be available to accomodate reporter inquiries).
