(Kansas City, Kan., Feb. 26, 2007) – The Environmental Protection Agency, the City of Springfield, and Drury University will host a conference titled “Midwest Summit on the Sustainable Redevelopment of Contaminated Properties.”

This two-and-a-half day conference will include speakers discussing cutting-edge ideas on sustainable design and development. The conference will also include a bus tour of area sites, and interactive sessions during which conference participants will explore the principles of sustainable design and development. Over 100 participants attended this highly-rated conference when it was held in Chicago (2003) and the Quad Cities (Illinois/Iowa) in 2005.
