EPA, GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY AND 15 FEDERAL AGENCIES TO KICKOFF BROWNFIELDS PARTNERSHIP

     SAN FRANCISCO   The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, together with the Gila River Indian Community and 15 federal agencies will kickoff the Brownfields Showcase Community partnership at a summit on April 17 to discuss the cleanup and redevelopment of brownfields-- abandoned, lightly contaminated sites.

     Press are invited to the day's events and the EPA will hold a press availability after the bus tour of the Gila River Indian Community Brownfields sites.
