EPA Awards Over $600,000 to Santo Domingo Pueblo to Improve Drinking Water Quality

(Dallas, Texas – August 23, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded $619,000 to the Santo Domingo Pueblo through an Interagency Agreement (IAG) with the Department of Health and Human Services to improve drinking water quality for the Pueblo. Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service Office (IHS), a division of DHHS, will administer the IAG funds to perform the necessary drinking water infrastructure improvements on Santo Domingo tribal lands that serve the tribal population.
