Public Hearing Set for Grand Bois Oil field Waste Treatment Company's Discharge Permit

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public hearing on the proposed waste water discharge permit for U.S. Liquids of Louisiana, Ltd, formerly Campbell Well, Ltd.

The permit would prohibit discharging oil field waste or water associated with that waste. Only sanitary waste water from the company's offices would be allowed to be discharged under the proposed permit.

Any comments received at the hearing will be recorded and considered when the decision is made on the permit.
