EPA PCB DOCUMENT SCHEDULED FOR PEER REVIEW

EPA is sponsoring a peer-review workshop to review the document, "PCBs: Cancer Dose-Response Assessment and Application to Environmental Mixtures," from Tuesday, May 21, at 8:30 a.m. through Wednesday, May 22, at 4:30 p.m. EPA will consider comments and recommendations from the workshop in revising the document. The workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn, 8120 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, Md. The public may attend; a limited public comment period is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Intent to comment must be scheduled upon registration. Wednesday afternoon is reserved for written comments from the peer review panel. To register, call the Eastern Research Group at 617-674-7374. Space is limited. The document was published in the Federal Register on May 1 and is available on the INTERNET via the EPA/ORD homepage at (https://www.epa.gov/ORD).
