SAN PABLO KIDS TO GRADUATE FROM U.S. EPA ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROJECT

EVENT: News media are invited to join U.S. EPA's Harry Seraydarian and Harriet Hill, and students, parents, and teachers from San Pablo's Dover elementary school, in recognizing the accomplishments of 120 fourth-to-sixth grade students who completed a course of hands-on environmental learning activities with U.S. EPA's Adopt-A-School Pilot Project. The project included field trips to Wildcat Creek, Point Pinole, a bayside salt marsh, and U.S. EPA's Richmond Laboratory. Cooperating agencies include the East Bay Regional Park District, Contra Costa County, and the West County Toxics Coalition.

DIRECTIONS: From the Bay Bridge, take Interstate 80 East to San Pablo Dam Rd. exit. From exit, turn left onto San Pablo Dam Rd., then go about two blocks and turn right onto San Pablo Ave., then go about two more blocks and turn left onto Church, which becomes Market, then turn right onto 21st St., then go 2 blocks to Dover Rd., and park. School is at 21st and Dover.
