EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will address the California Commonwealth Club in San Jose, California on Monday, March 10 at 12:30 p.m. (PST). Administrator Browner will discuss EPA's new proposals to strengthen the nation's air quality standards for smog and soot. Browner will also address the historical challenges of American industry in achieving cleaner air, and the actual costs incurred in meeting those challenges.
