EPA invites comment on Chevron ground water cleanup plan; public meeting slated May 9

CHICAGO (April 12, 2006) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 will hold a public meeting to discuss the Chevron cleanup project at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, at the Whitewater Senior Center and Township Hall, 6125 Dry Fork Road, Whitewater Township, Ohio.
Residents are invited to share opinions on recommended options for cleaning up contaminated ground water at the Chevron Cincinnati Facility, Hooven, Ohio, at the meeting or submit written comments from April 12 to May 30, 2006.
EPA's cleanup proposal, called Statement of Basis for Ground Water, is available for review on EPA's Web site and at the Cincinnati Public Library, Miami Township Branch, 8 Miami Ave., Cleves.
