U.S. EPA, CAL/EPA TO ANNOUNCE LARGEST CLEAN WATER CIVIL SETTLEMENT

EVENT: The California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) will announce the largest-ever dollar amount settlement to resolve a civil enforcement case of alleged Clean Water Act violations at a single facility. The case involves a well-known California facility owned by one of California's biggest companies, and a multi-million-dollar settlement.

DIRECTIONS: From Downtown San Francisco, take Van Ness Ave. north to Lombard St.
and turn left onto Lombard. Take Lombard St. west about one mile,through the Lombard St. Gate into the Presidio. Take second right onto Presidio, which becomes Lincoln, and follow it to the Main Post Parade Ground. Turn left onto Montgomery. Visitor Center is in fourth red brick building -- look for Visitor Center sign and park on Parade Ground in front of building. The Parade Ground is paved and offers ample free parking.
