Browner to Outline Administration Efforts to Build
Livable Communities for the 21st Century
Livable Communities for the 21st Century
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will deliver keynote address at The Garden Club of America’s 1999 Legislative Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 9:30 a.m. in Washington, D.C., on Administration efforts to build Livable Communities for the 21st Century, including the Better America Bonds initiative, a new innovative tool to help communities preserve open space, protect water quality, and clean up and redevelop brownfields -- this nation’s abandoned industrial properties. Browner will also discuss other Administration efforts to revitalize communities and provide Americans with healthy air, clean water, and safe land on which to live.
