EPA to Hold Public Availability Session Regarding Picayune Wood Treating Superfund Site in Picayune, Miss.

The Environmental Protection Agency and Mississippi Department Environmental Quality will hold a Public Availability Session on Thursday, November 4, 2004, regarding the Picayune Wood Treating Superfund Site in Picayune, Mississippi.  The availability session is being held to encourage community involvement, environmental awareness and provide technical grant assistance to the Picayune community.

The first session will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and the second session will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 501 Weems Street, in Picayune.
