EPA Awards Over $100,000 to the Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Program

(Dallas, Texas – December 13, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $110,000 to the Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Environmental Program. The tribe will use the funds to develop and manage environmental programs and to protect and improve the environment and public health of the tribal community. The funds will help the tribe create an environmental office, conduct outreach in the area and identify and characterize plant communities on tribal properties.
