REGION 7 CHIEF & EPA’S DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES TO ANNOUNCE NATIONAL HISPANIC OUTREACH STRATEGY
Jim Gulliford, administrator for EPA Region 7, and Rafael De Leon, director of EPA’s Office of Human Resources, will jointly announce the National Hispanic Outreach Strategy at a Kansas City event Monday.
The event is a Hispanic Stakeholders Forum hosted by EPA Region 7 at the Guadalupe Center, Inc. Partners from the Hispanic Economics Development Corp. of Kansas City, Mo., Harvest America, Inc., of Kansas City, Kan., the Chicano Awareness Center of Omaha, and the Iowa Dept. of Public Health will also make presentations.
EPA’s National Hispanic Outreach Strategy sets forth an approach to promoting greater access to economic and employment opportunities, increasing support, facilitating access to environmental information, and improving the delivery of programs and services of importance to the Hispanic community.
