U.S. EPA ADMINISTRATOR CAROL BROWNER TO ADDRESS THE NEW ENGLAND COUNCIL ON ADMINISTRATION EFFORTS TO PROVIDE AMERICANS WITH CLEAN, HEALTHY AIR WHILE GROWING THE ECONOMY
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will address The New England Council on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 11:30 a.m. on Administration efforts to provide Americans with clean, healthy air while growing the economy. Browner also will discuss Administration efforts to build Livable Communities for the 21st Century, including the Better America Bonds initiative, a new innovative tool to help communities preserve open space, protect water quality, and clean up and redevelop brownfields -- this nation’s abandoned industrial properties.
The New England Council is a regional business organization that promotes federal policies and initiatives that will improve and enhance the economy of the six-state area.
