EPA to Sponsor Alsen Environmental Health Fair

(Dallas, Texas – December 7, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is sponsoring an Environmental Health Fair featuring free health screenings and health information. EPA will be joined by more than 20 local and state agencies in providing information, testing and exams. Information will be provided on asthma management and prevention, emergency preparedness and disasters, senior health insurance, and a senior Rx program. Testing and exams will check blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, lung function, vision including glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy, and colorectal cancer screening kits.
