Kerrville, Texas Business Honored for its Energy Efficiency

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will honor one of the most energy-efficient small businesses in the region, River Run Bed & Breakfast of Kerrville, Texas, with the Energy Star Small Business Award for its exemplary energy efficiency.
Mr. Ron Williamson of River Run Bed & Breakfast saved money and prevented pollution through energy efficiency upgrades. Mr. Williamson has prevented release to the environment of more than 77,000 pounds of carbon dioxide, more than 654 pounds of sulfur dioxide and more than 283 pounds of oxides of nitrogen (Nox).
The Energy Star Small Business Award recognizes those small businesses that effectively reduce energy usage while cutting costs. This is the first year the EPA has nationally awarded small businesses specifically for their energy efficiency efforts.
