SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE PROPOSED ON TOLERANCE FEE RULE
On July 24, EPA published a notice in the Federal Register to provide an opportunity for the public and affected parties to submit comments on additional data and information pertaining to tolerance fees for inert ingredients. In the proposed tolerance fee rule, published in the Federal Register on June 9, 1999. EPA outlined its approach to fully recover the costs incurred in processing pesticide tolerance actions. The Agency has also estimated the fees that would be imposed on tolerance actions for inert ingredients and has reconsidered several key provisions in its proposal that may affect the inerts industry. EPA must receive written comments, identified by the docket number OPP-30115B, by Aug. 23 to: Public Information and Records Integrity Branch; Information Resources Services Division; (7502C); Office of Pesticides Program; Ariel Rios Bldg.; 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W.; Washington, D.C. 20460.
