EPA awards over $190,000 to the City of Sulphur to Improve Its Sewer System

(Dallas, Texas – October 18, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded $192,400 to the City of Sulphur, Oklahoma, to improve its sewer system. The City will use the funds to construct a sanitary sewer extension to an area near the intersection of State Highway 7 and Cooper Memorial Road that currently utilizes individual septic systems. The sanitary sewer extension will provide service to approximately 4,700 people.
