EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner to participate in two events in Baltimore, M.D. on Tuesday, May 28
- 1. NOON. Administrator Browner will join Governor Parris Glendening in Baltimore to launch "Ozone Action Days" -- a public/private partnership to reduce Baltimore's air pollution. Browner will discuss Baltimore's innovative efforts to reduce air pollution, and the Clinton Administration's efforts to ensure clean air for all Americans. WHO: EPA Administrator Carol M. Administrator Browner will also join Senator Paul Sarbanes and Mayor Kurt Schmoke at Baltimore's Eco-Industrial Park to launch the Environmental Technology Challenge -- a national project promoting innovative environmental technologies and environmentally sound practices in communities across the nation. Browner will discuss the Clinton Administration's efforts to help communities revitalize urban areas, and make an announcement concerning Baltimore's revitalization plans.
