EPA ANNOUNCES MEETING WITH INDUSTRY AND OTHERS TO DEVELOP STRATEGY FOR TESTING ENDOCRINE-DISRUPTER CHEMICALS
On May 15 and 16, EPA will hold an open meeting with industry, the environmental community, academic researchers, and others to discuss cooperative efforts for developing a screening and testing program for substances which may pose significant risks through endocrine (hormone) disruption. The meeting will be open to the public and will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Crystal City, Va., 2-6 p.m. on May l5 and 8:30 a.m. noon on May l6.
