Chicago, Ill. (Sept. 17, 2010) – On behalf of Unified Command, EPA officials, along with representatives of National Transportation Safety Board, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Agency, Romeoville Mayor Noak and a representative of Illinois EPA, will hold a media briefing Friday, Sept. 17 – by telephone only – regarding the ongoing response to the Enbridge oil spill in Romeoville, Ill. EPA has the role of Federal On-Scene Coordinator for this incident.
The conference call briefings will take place at 1 p.m. CT.
Officials with Enbridge will separately brief the media immediately following the government briefing on the same conference line.
