LEADS TO PLEA AGREEMENT
V.C. Tank Lines Inc., of Schererville, Ind., was charged on June 3, in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana in Dyer with the illegal storage of hazardous waste. The charges against the defendant allege that its activities involving the illegal storage of styrene monomer at its facility in Schererville lead to a near explosion which caused residents of the local community to be evacuated.
