EPA Will Launch 2004 Fight Against Asthma, Debut New Video

(Washington, D.C. - April 29, 2004) To help Spanish-speaking Americans recognize asthma triggers and prevent asthma, EPA will hold events in the Southwest to release the Spanish-language video Controlando Los Factores del Asthma and new public education materials. EPA officials will join state and local representatives on May 3 in El Paso, Texas and May 4 in Sunland Park, N.M. May 4 is World Asthma Day, and May marks Asthma Awareness Month.
