EPA to Celebrate Earth Day Volunteering With Trees Atlanta

(ATLANTA – APRIL 21, 2009) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 has teamed with Trees Atlanta on their last tree planting of the season on Earth Day, April 22. Trees Atlanta has just 50 trees left to plant this spring, and EPA Region 4 employees will join Acting Regional Administrator Stan Meiburg and Trees Atlanta staff in planting the trees along Continental Colony Parkway in Southwest Atlanta.
