MEDIA ADVISORY
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will deliver the keynote address at the Society of Environmental Journalists Regional Conference -- Before the Dust Settles: Reporting the Air Quality Debate -- in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, May 17, at 11:45 a.m. Browner will address the importance to the American people of setting strong public health standards, and the current national debate over the appropriate health-based standards for smog and soot.

- Directions: From Cleveland, take I-77 south to exit #143 (State Route 176 - Wheatley Road). Turn left onto Wheatley and follow for 3 miles. Turn left at Oak Hill Road and go up the steep hill, the first drive on the right is the CVEEC entrance. The Environmental Education Center is located on the Lipscomb Campus, which is the first set of buildings on the left (a white farmhouse and a large wooden barn).
