U.S. EPA Deputy Administrator Fred Hansen will join Mayor William Johnson on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, at 12:00 p.m. at the Center at High Falls in Rochester, N.Y. to discuss the impact of President Clinton’s record environmental budget for fiscal year 1999 on residents of Rochester and other communities across the nation. Among the initiatives Hansen will address are the Clinton Administration’s commitment to curbing the pollution that causes global warming, completing the cleanup of America’s waterways, implementing tough new air standards and protecting children from environmental health threats.
