(Washington, D.C.-Jan. 9, 2006) The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Environmental Performance Review (EPR) represents the only internationally authoritative analysis of a country's environmental performance. All 30 OECD member nations have been evaluated twice since the program's inception. The EPR of the United States being released today is the first since 1995 and captures the Administration's most significant accomplishments in the area of environmental and natural resources management.
