TOMORROW: EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson to Deliver Keynote Address at Power Shift 2011 Conference

WASHINGTON – On Saturday, April 16, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lisa P. Jackson will speak to nearly 10,000 youth leaders from across the country at Energy Action Coalition’s 2011 Power Shift conference. Administrator Jackson will talk to the students about environmental stewardship and EPA’s ongoing efforts to protect human health and the environment. 350.org founder Bill McKibben will also speak during the evening session.
Energy Action Coalition is a coalition of 50 youth-led environmental and social justice groups focused on engaging youth in clean energy efforts. The annual Power Shift conference is a two-day training for the coalition’s youth leaders from across the U.S.
