EPA Presents Bronze Medal to Dallas, Pa. Native

PHILADELPHIA -- The Environmental Protection Agency has recognized attorney Wayne R. Walters for his outstanding legal expertise in cleaning up a Superfund site.
Wayne R. Walters, senior assistant regional counsel, was honored for his contribution to the safe clean-up of extremely hazardous site soils using onsite incineration at the Drake Superfund site and demonstrating professionalism throughout the ensuing litigation.
Walters, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Quentin R. Walters of Dallas, Pa., has worked for the EPA for 10 years.
"Wayne deserves applause for his hard work. Thanks to him, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
