PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has honored Pauline DeVose of Philadelphia with the Regional Administrator’s Award for Excellence.
DeVose, an environmental protection specialist with the Air Protection Division (APD), was recognized for her leadership abilities, communications skills and for coordinating regional activities. She participates in the APD Communications Task Force and the Ozone Communication Strategy Workshop, volunteers as a mentor and coordinates APD’s annual Earth Day event. DeVose is also responsible for organizing the division’s information database.
"Pauline can always be counted on to do an excellent job. She takes no credit for most of her contributions but she has tremendous attention to detail, volunteers willingly and is consistently service-oriented," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
