Denver will host Tribal Nations Children's Environmental Health Summit

(Denver, Colo. -- Aug. 2, 2007) The 2007 Tribal Nations Children's Environmental Health Summit will be held at the Denver Doubletree Hotel on August 22 and 23. The conference will feature nationally renowned speakers and will convene professionals including public health and education officials, physicians and health care providers, school administrators and teachers, university professors, and representatives from children's health organizations from across the nation.
WHO: The Summit is cosponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units from across the United States and is being planned in partnership with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry and Indian Health Services.
WHAT: Experts will present information on Tribal children's environmental health hazards and issues.
WHEN: August 22, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; August 23, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Denver Doubletree Hotel, 3203 Quebec Street, Denver, Colo.
