EPA Announces Approval of Non-Time Critical Removal Action for Anniston PCB Site in Alabama

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today the approval of a Non-Time Critical Removal Action Memorandum for the Anniston PCB Site. The Action Memorandum requires the cleanup of residential soils impacted by polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) contamination. The recommended removal action includes removal of contaminated residential soils and proper disposal of those soils on property owned by Solutia, Inc.
