Protecting Children from Environmental Health Risks in the Next Decade

(Washington, D.C. - April 25, 2007) This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Executive Order 13045 - "Protection of Children from Environmental Health Risks and Safety Risks." Executive Order 13045 requires each federal agency to identify and evaluate environmental health and safety risks. Experts in children's environmental health will share their ideas about how to protect children over the next 10 years.

This national seminar is sponsored by EPA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
