IN CALLING FOR GREATER PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF CHEMICAL EMISSIONS
IN CALLING FOR GREATER PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF CHEMICAL EMISSIONS
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Carol M. Browner will join the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and utility industry leaders from the Northeast at a press conference to announce a series of voluntary steps utilities will take to provide Americans with the information they need to protect the health of their families. The utilities -- members of the Clean Energy Group (CEG) -- and NRDC will also release a report detailing air toxics emissions from electric generating plants.
EVENT: EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner, CEG, NRDC, and
- representatives from the Public Service Enterprise Group (Newark, N.J.), PG&E Generating (Bethesda, Md.), and KeySpan Energy (Brooklyn, N.Y.) announce voluntary steps to increase public disclosure of chemical emissions.
