On Oct. 20-21, EPA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture will hold a Tolerance Reassessment Advisory Committee (TRAC) meeting. Agenda topics include: tolerance reassessment progress, science policy issues, and the worker risk assessment process; organophosphate pesticides, including the pilot public participation process; transition strategies; and tolerance reassessment and FQPA implementation issues. The meeting will be held at the Arlington Hilton and Towers, 950 North Stafford Street, Arlington, VA (703-528-6000), Ballston Metro subway station. TRAC was established in April 1998 as a subcommittee under the EPA National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology, to provide EPA and USDA with guidance on implementing the 1996 Food Quality Protection Act. The committee will meet from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21.
