U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will address faculty, students and members of the Johns Hopkins University community at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health on Friday, May 8, at 4 p.m. Administrator Browner will discuss the Clinton Administration’s fundamental change in the nation’s approach to environmental protection -- to focus on protecting public health by ensuring healthy air to breathe, clean water to drink and safe land on which to live. Administrator Browner also will discuss efforts to protect children from environmental health threats, particularly in urban communities.
