EPA applauds 147 companies for voluntary cleanup of abandoned Commerce City facility

WHAT: A ceremony and photo opportunity to celebrate how representatives of nearly 150 companies took environmental matters into their own hands. Environmental cleanup activities are currently underway and will serve as the backdrop for this event. These activities include removing existing structures and tanks, replacing contaminated soil and disposing of contaminants.

- Directions from I-70:
Go north on Colorado Boulevard for 3.5 miles (Colorado Boulevard
becomes U.S. 6/85); go right (east) onto 72nd Avenue and
take an immediate right onto Elm Street. Park on the vacant
property (on your left) or along Elm Street.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will occur inside
the main building on the Approved Oil Services site.
