SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is asking for public comment on a proposed order under which the Fort Ord Reuse Authority will conduct the cleanup of a substantial portion of the Superfund site for reuse and redevelopment.
The Fort Ord Reuse Authority is the agency responsible for planning, financing and converting the former Fort Ord on the Monterey Peninsula to civilian use.
