EPA Hosting North American Electronics Recycling (E-Scrap) Conference in Atlanta

(Atlanta, Ga. – Oct. 24, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is co-hosting the fifth annual E-Scrap Conference today and tomorrow, October 25, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Atlanta with Resource Recycling, publisher of E-Scrap News and Resource Recycling magazine. The fifth annual E-Scrap Conference will feature extensive industry assessments, including analyses of stewardship systems and issues in the U.S. and Canada, e-scrap processing trends, e-scrap collection issues, recycling market factors, plus legislative and policy considerations. Presentations will be given by leading industry experts.
In addition to informative sessions, the E-Scrap 2007 Conference will feature a tradeshow showcasing the latest innovations and service offerings from firms providing e-scrap equipment and processing systems, as well as firms providing reclamation opportunities, consulting services and markets for e-scrap materials.
Attendees of E-Scrap 2007 will include equipment manufacturers, generators of e-scrap, federal, state, and local government officials, trade association leaders, environmental organizations, e-scrap processors and buyers of e-scrap parts and materials from the U.S. and Canada.
