BMDS Training Videos
J. Allen Davis, MSPH, co-Principal Investigator for the Benchmark Dose Software (BMDS), presents a series of videos on benchmark dose modeling concepts, the application's numerous modeling choices, and the BMDS 3.3 and BMDS Online applications.
Allen has presented these programs at live trainings, and has adapted them for video replay.
The intended audience for this training are risk assessors.
Benchmark Dose Modeling - Introduction
This module defines basic terms related to benchmark dose modeling, discusses the advantages of using the BMD methodology over the older NOAEL/LOAEL approach, covers the types of toxicity data that can be modeled using BMDS, and introduces useful dose-response reference materials .
