The Pollution Prevention Program is starting a webinar series on the second Wednesday of the month covering key sustainability topics from reducing/eliminating PFAS in products to source reduction solutions in industrial sectors.
The first webinar in the series is Using EPA’s Sustainable Procurement Tools to Achieve Sustainability Goals on March 13, 2024, 2-3 p.m. ET with Jennie Romer, EPA Deputy Assistant Administrator for Pollution Prevention. The webinar will include Pollution Prevention grantees and other experts who will explore innovations and successes in implementing source reduction strategies to advance sustainability across sectors.
You’ll also learn about how EPA’s sustainable procurement tools can help government and institutional purchasers meet sustainability goals and mandates. The webinar will review a new interactive tool for EPA’s Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels and show how it can identify the ecolabels that address PFAS and plastics. Additionally, hear from industry experts and EPA grantees on how they incorporate these resources in their work.
