Total Coliform Rule Compliance Help for Public Water Systems
EPA has developed the following materials for public water systems (for example, owners and operators) to assist in complying with the requirements of the Total Coliform Rule and Revised Total Coliform Rule. Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR) Placards: the RTCR Placards are a collection of six (6) e-fillable placards on the RTCR requirements. They are designed for primacy agencies to give to small PWSs that serve 1,000 or fewer persons.

Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR) Sample Siting Plan with Template Manual: This ten page manual assists in selecting representative sample locations (i.e., routine & repeat samples), includes protocols, recommended instructions, and an e-fillable sample siting plan template. It is designed for primacy agencies to give to small PWSs that serve 1,000 or fewer persons, including direct implementation program and tribal water systems.
