Borrowing privileges are generally limited to EPA staff, other libraries, and local businesses/organizations with established borrowing arrangements.
The Region 6 Library does not circulate materials to individuals. However, the public is welcome to visit the library, by appointment, and use library materials onsite. The Librarian is available to answer questions.
Members of the public or students wishing to borrow materials and unable to visit should contact their local public, school, or university library and ask for an Interlibrary Loan. To locate EPA Library materials, you can search the EPA National Library Catalog. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail.
Information For Other Libraries: We freely share circulating materials from our collection with other libraries via the OCLC Resource Sharing system. The EPA Region 6 Library OCLC symbol is EMA. For libraries that do not have OCLC Resource Sharing access, please contact the librarian via email at [email protected]. For additional information you may contact the librarian directly via telephone during operating hours at 214-665-6424. Thank you.
Many library services are available electronically for the public. EPA employees have additional on-line resources (such as journals and other periodicals) available via Desktop Library Services.
